Pi Day

今日是一年一度的Pi Day。怎慶祝呢﹖就是食Pie了。
早上有些同事都每人帶了一個Pie回來(有些自製﹐有些就只是買的)﹐Conference Room的會議桌上擺滿了各式各樣的Pie﹐套用小學生的寫法﹐簡直就是「琳琅滿目﹐令人目不暇給」。身為甜品狂熱的我﹐卻因為肚內容量有限﹐而只試了四種自家製的Pie。
Dutch Apple Pie... 凍了﹐不過上面的crust很脆口﹐不錯~ 很難想像是出自一位年輕男同事的手筆
department secretary 的Salmon Quiche... 少數的鹹Pie﹐有芝士香味卻不太濃﹐不會很膩﹐幾好~
Pecan Praline Pie... Pie餡料有點類似龍江煎堆內裡的質感﹐不會是一pat又甜又漏﹐OK
Chocolate Cream Pie... 朱古力只是中下質素的貨色﹐不過最欣賞的是Pie的皮是一層層的酥皮﹐極品~
以前讀大學時﹐記得take過discrete math和algorithm analysis這兩個class﹐3月14日都有慶祝Pi Day﹐兩位Professor都掏腰包請一眾學生食Pie﹐都頗為搞笑~

mo ar...I heard of it when I was in college ge.
I like dessert, too. ho may do. what are some of your favorites nay? I think pies is one of them, am I right?

not all pies ge~ but i like pie crusts that are in layers~ not like those solid cookie/graham cracker crust > <
i like Mille Feuille (means "thousand sheets"... but i think it's called Napoleon in English~), creme brulee, tiramisu, and most pastries in general (chinese or western) la~
probably there are a lot more that i like, but i can only think of these for now ^_^
not too crazy about chinese sweet soup though (except woo tau sai mai lo~)
how about ur favorites ne?

glad u like the album version!
this song was actually originally sung by the late Ozaki Yutaka (he passed away long time ago lu...)
the album version was just newly released in mika's brand new album ja! the previous version was in her previous single "Mienai Hoshi" (Invisible Star)

ho..yuen lor nei chung yee sic "so pay" more than cracker crust ge. ngor teng d layers/sheets ho fa sum gay ga. nei do ho sic sic bor~ ^_^
ngor do chung yee tiramisu & creme brulee nay~ bj's ge tiramisu ho ho may ga.
My favorite desserts are dark chocolates, fruit tarts, chestnut cream cake, cookies, jello & mango pudding...haha...count ng yuen nay~

chestnut cream cakes... yummy ar!
fruit tarts are ok la in general... if they are fresh fruits then great!
